In one sense, every issue of JVS focuses on Vaishnava philosophy. Indeed, the study and practice of Vaishnavism is grounded in a particular worldview, necessitating a profound sense of philosophical awareness, in which material nature and ultimate reality are seen in very specific ways. Thus, whether our topic has been Vaishnava history, deities, women, saints—some philosophy has always slipped through.
