Abstract
I worked on the translation of this book (from the Bengali) during the autumn of 1983, when I spent some very happy moments performing the caturmasya-varta in Vrindavan and Radha-kunda. Since its author, Kunja Bihari Dasji, died in 1979, I never had the opportunity to personally meet him. His successor, however, the scholar and the most prominent figure amongst the present day monks of Radha-Kunda, Pandit Sir Ananta DasaBabaji, took the trouble to help me with some of the most difficult passages.
