Abstract
This book is an excellengt, though at times misleading, introduction to the religious practices (sadhana) of the Caitanya Vaisnava tradition. This text could be and should be used in college religion courses as a detailed case study of one of India's lesser known, but nevertheless importanat religious traditions. An excellent bibiliography, detailed footnotes, and a glossary of importanat Sanskrit terms make it a valuable reference and research resource that should be part of any library's collection.
